Counting Module

It works on a handheld terminal and counting reports are tracked on the computer used for RFID applications. The counting process can be done by moving between the shelves in the archive or library with the hand terminal and scanning the materials on the shelves from a certain distance. With the counting module, new counts can be made or the last interrupted count can be resumed.

False Placement Module

It is a module that locates the material that should not be on the shelf with the help of the hand terminal. In order to find the misplaced material on a shelf, the RFID tag of the relevant shelf is first scanned and how many materials are on that shelf are displayed on the handheld terminal screen together with their RFID codes. While the materials are listed, a warning tone is received from the handheld terminal for each misplaced material. If necessary, the information of the misplaced document is also displayed on the screen.

Discovery Module

It is a module that finds and locates the searched document. The searched material is introduced to the hand terminal and the information of the work is called up. The search and finding process can be done from a certain distance by moving between the shelves with the hand terminal. As you get closer to the document you want to find or search for, the warning sound received from the handheld terminal continues to increase. When the material is found, a different "beep" warning is received. Thus, the finding process is realized in a short time.

It works on a machine that is reserved only for lending and return transactions in the library or archive. For the lending process, the reader is first identified at the coding station. Then, the documents to be borrowed are scanned at this station and the lending process is realized. Thus, exits from the security gate are legalized. In addition, documents leaving the gate with permission are tracked on the computer. If the lending of documents is not done or is incomplete, the alarm system is activated at the door. Return procedures are carried out in the same way as lending procedures. The reader is first identified at the coding station and the return process is carried out by activating the RFID tag(s). In the same way, documents entering through the security gate are tracked on the computer.

The documents photocopied on a daily basis are scanned on the handheld terminal and the requested page numbers are entered and the information is transferred to the computer by associating them with the reader. In this way, it is monitored which reader has photocopied which document, when and how many pages, and when photocopies are requested from the same work later, photocopying processes are accelerated with only a new request, without the need to photocopy the same pages a second time. Thus, the frequency of use of that material is evaluated over time.

The system is designed to provide a wide range of statistical data on various applications. Reports on counting, misplacement, finding, labeling, most used materials, security can be obtained in a wide range thanks to the improved filtering method and search options. It is possible to monitor the movements at the gate, user types (such as readers, staff, visitors) and the entry and exit of documents, and to receive daily, monthly and annual reports about them. By looking at the entrances and exits at the security gate, information about the identity and number of people in the archive library can be obtained instantly, as well as information about any movement at the security gate.
